Confessions of an Organization-a-holic part 3

To read up on my previous antics read Confessions of an organization a –holic part 1 and part 2.

Well out of the blue and quite be surprise hubby announced he would begin taking out the bushes on the side of the house. Now, while I know bush removal and glass block window installation was on my summer “bucket list”, I also knew it was a long shot.

Since hubby was motivated, I decided to run out the next morning and get this party started by trimming the overgrown at least 8 foot high hedges. After about an hour of work, I remember when you said you wanted to see pictures so….

A little while later I stumbled upon this beauty…

Irronically I was stung a few days prior at the local ice cream establishment. Ummm, yeah. Bees and me well…

So the bushes are trimmed as far down as I can get them. I knew I was done when I cut through the extension cord and saw the sparks. Unfortunately it is an annual event for me.  (I’m even shaking my own head at me!)

Hubby came home and removed 3 of the 9 bushes. The 13 lawn bags I filled stunk to high heaven by the time garbage day rolled around. Now how long do you think it will be before this project is “finished”?
